PW, re synchronizing with Windows Briefcase: I have a
relative who wanted to sync between two desktop PCs using
Briefcase and a ZIP disk. [each PC has a ZIP drive].
Bottom line is, it doesn't work.

I tried it at home. I can use Briefcase to sync between
desktop A and a floppy. Then alter the files on the floppy
while it is in another machine, bring the floppy back to
desktop A and sync to the HD.

But once the floppy is dedicated to desktop A, it won't
sync via Briefcase with desktop B. [even though HD names
and folder names were identical on both desktops].

I am NOT saying this is a deficiency of Briefcase.
Briefcase IMO was designed to sync between ONE HD and
ONE floppy.

I recently added a new hard drive and set it as the primary.I decided to have a clean hard drive and am only installing programs as I need them. I was surprised that many of the programs on the secondary drive do not work anymore on the secondary drive. I initially thought I would be able to operate any program from either hard drive. Any comments would be of interest.
