E*Trade (EGRP) is starting to pick up support among Wall Street brokerage firms. On Nov. 15, Josephthal joined the club, initiating coverage with a "buy" and a $47 price target. That still gives sentiment plenty of room for improvement. Two months ago, three firms rated the stock a "strong buy." Only one investment house gave the stock that rating as of Nov. 15. (Full disclosure: After the customary three-day wait following my Nov. 9 recommendation of the stock, I purchased shares of E*Trade for my personal account.)
