I don't have the details handy but essentially Norske was a listed shell that was acquired by the formerly private company which we now recognize as EBASOne. This type of acquisition is a pretty common way of quickly taking an operation public with minimal hassle.

I don't think we had a bunch of oil guys who suddenly decided to get into the internet business.

I don't know if this is applies, but Cardinal who is lending them money was involved with HITT and WCTI. Both these companies were and are hype jobs. This might mean nothing.
