PammieLee: FWIW- I use Datek and find it reasonably reliable. If speed (seconds) is of the essence, however, Datek's ordering process is terribly slow, IMO, and for that reason, I'm looking for another OLB myself. Jeanne

PammyLee, Like Alan, I use CyberX from CyberCorp (www.cybercorp.com). At $14.95, they aren't the absolute lowest cost. BUT, they are a direct entry broker. You can trade pre and post market with them. Also, you will find their executions and cancellations are light-years ahead of Datek. (I had a Datek account. Lost 4% of one position in about 3 minutes because of very poor cancellation.) Their their customer service and tech support is much better than Datek's also. Also, with their other product, CyberTrader, they just added direct access to Instinet! (Be still my heart!) I expect that Instinet access will be added to CyberX shortly. Except for pure scalpers who trade dozens or hundreds of positions daily, I believe that CyberCorp/CyberX is the best broker/order entry system available. Regards, Dan. Regards, Dan.
