G.lite might be moot to you, but Lucent obviously doesn't share in that. I'm not sure of what your jamming thinking really is, but, if I understand it, maybe down the road further it will come about and be actually there. My needs aren't for anything other than internet browsing, satellite service takes care of my entertainment needs and I don't require fast uploading. I say that to point out there are different needs of service. It would service us better, I think, if we were to focus on how the market will rollout in the next 12-18 months. Within that time G.Lite will increase in it's use as will other forms of DSL. Cost is a great concern when we move from the business customer to the consumer premise market and that is where g.lite is geared to. It's just not my opinion, but that of many large companies. SBC has recently said they are still looking at g.lite very seriously.

So for now I guess we respectfully disagree and we have to see as things continue to change ever so fast in the technology world.
