Hi Uncle,

Here are some things to look forward to from this great company:

Short Term:

1) Increased Margins (sale of handset division)
2) Split 4:1
3) Licensing contract with INTC and many others who show interest in HDR.

What is the fear short term: market conditions, and momentum players/MM having fun with our stock.

Long Term:

1) Toll Gate to wireless

2) I will make CHINA a separate line: 200M people currently can afford to spent money. Their market is growing 70% a year. India will hopefully will be next. Basically the world is coming to us.

What are the long term fundamental fears: according to the best reviews we should dominate the playing field.

If anybody wants to take the risk of selling their shares to make some extra money in these crazy moves, well all the power to you but don't miss the boat. GOOD News can come any day and you know that QCOM always SURPRISES people to the positive side.

Just think of the market we are in: all three gorillas (INTC, MSFT, and CSCO) are interested in the wireless world these days. But Q is the toll gate...I realize the importance of this when I cross a bridge to come to work every single working day. Either pay the $2 toll or risk a $276 ticket : ).

There is a great bull & bear battle going on here. I assume most short sellers started about $400 and the bulls have perhaps a couple hundred dollars in profits so each side is fighting fiercely, but anxious to protect current profits. It's particularly exciting when huge waves of orders show up.
