Paul, I've noticed that INTC is getting a fair amount of criticism for not anticipating or being able to meet excess demand this quarter. This strikes me as a quarter that could be shaping up to be similar to Q4 of 1996.

This old article is similar to the articles that are currently appearing:

zdnet.com

Intel literally knocked the cover off the ball that quarter:

intc.com

I believe Intel may be poised to have a blowout quarter like that, what do you think?

By the way, didn't Intel postpone the MMX rollout that year until early 1997?

Do you know if INTC was going through a process technology change at that time?
