Sam,

Thank you for the report on the Seagate interview. From watching disk drive pricing I noticed a little weakness in enterprise drives. The price declines are not severe but there seems to be a change from the stable prices I have seen for quite a while.

Regards,
Mark

Sam,

A few weeks ago you mentioned that you were concerned about Seagate falling behind in product introductions. There have been several discussions about this lately on the Yahoo! thread which, I assume, you have read. What do you make of this? One of the regular posters on that thread seems to have become so anti-Seagate that I can't trust his/her judgement. If you have some insights on this, I would love to hear it. Has anything changed? Are you still concerned?

How long will it be before WDC goes bankrupt?

Just wondering what time frames other people see. My careful reading of the balance sheet numbers in the latest Hambrecht & Quist reports suggests that WDC has about 6 months to live at current rates of loss.

Anybody else got thoughts?
