Did you see the news about MCI/Worldcom

<< MCI WorldCom Wants Wireless Operations in Europe, CEO Says

New York, Nov. 15 (Bloomberg) -- MCI WorldCom Inc., which is acquiring long-distance telephone rival Sprint Corp., wants a wireless phone operation in Europe, Chief Executive Bernard Ebbers said.

I was against the deal before I read that. What a great way to push CDMA into Europe, with the backing of a giant like WCOM, and the know how of Sprint PCS. So your idea could be right on target.

MileHigh, you are onto something... a triumvirate is coming

we have not factored Intel into the picture adequately

they provide monstrous capacity potential
they crave new growth arenas
just look at their networking new products

I only wish QCOM would gradually ratchet up their own mfg capacity for higher margins

QCOM - INTC - NOK is my bet
Motorola can get with the program, or repeat their Iridium fiasco in the terrestrial arena

nice thinking, Jim
