Terry,

Just a guess on my part, but I think people were disappointed that Pangea did not get taken out. The Barrick investment is a great endorsement, but at the same time, indicates that any potential takeover will not happen before several months.... Thus money is put to work elsewhere as speculators expect to be able to get back in around $4, where the price may languish for a while.

I think that this is what has gone through the minds of many people. At the same time, I recognize that Pangea may use some cash to further develop other projects, which could lead to further price gains.

A junior that can raise $4M in cash in this market has to have a lot of potential. Pangea are not looking to be taken out. They have always had the goal of becoming a major gold company through exploration. I recall that they also have a poison pill that makes a buy-out very expensive.
