Intel makes PC which in large part are Y2K compliant. Since most company are expecting to upgrade and buy new PC's after the Y2K they are placing their orders now. But they are not going to install them. I doubt that HLIT will see a slow down this 1/4 because even though at&t is in a quite period INSTALLING new products they still will be BUYING new products.

Don and Thread,
I contacted HLIT IR and read them the SEC filing. It was the first time they had heard of it and it had to be researched.

Well after a couple more calls and days went by, I just got an answer. The SEC statement AT&T filed was meant to refer only to the telco, "cloud." In other words, AT&Ts voice network....maybe a better way to say it is, their Y2K statement will have no impact on Harmonics HFC (hybrid-fiber coax) network buildout plans with AT&T.
