To All: As I remember the .18 process has a much better yield and better gross margins than prior chips. So how can increased margins plus extraordinary demand result in a negative investment posture regarding INTC? Can someone explain the"logic" in today's nearly 2 point loss? Oddly MOT is up even thought they are stopped out with respect to the manufacture of phones because they cannot get enough third party displays. I mean what's going on? MOT should be down and INTC should be up as NOKIA has plenty of capacity to fill the gap where as AMD is flat out already.JFD

John - Re: "This is indeed a buying opportunity for INTC as long as AMD doesn't decide to pull an Egypt Air on this current situation which probably would not cause INTC to lower prices anyway. "

My sentiments exactly.

I tried to scoop up even more Intel today at $74 1/2, but my order didn't get filled.

I'll try tomorrow - if Intel goes "on sale" again.
