Frank: Your history is flawed. Mac bought their O/S from Xerox Parc and Windows was a GUI overlay of DOS. Yes GUI is what the computer user sees butthe underlying systems are world apart. The courts decided that (clicking on an icon) GUI was not the patentable/copyright part of the Mac O/S. I was away today can you tell me what noise drove Softee down today? Was it spin off from the INTC article in the WSJ.That article was really extremely bullish as that means box demand is enormous. What is going on here? Weird day all the chip stocks hammered as well. Looks to me that they are getting to the point where they have pricing power. JFD
