Thanks. That was addressing exactly my thought. I had the (uninvestigated) impression that part of Intel's reason for entering the server farm business is a desire to develop their own machines to serve the market. Ditto for IBM. It would seem that the server farm business is going to develop into a real commodity business, leading to much thinner margins than Intel is used to. The power will reside in the box makers (eg., NTAP) Hmmm.
