Teflon,

I'm very concerned about this case. This case has effectively put a lid on the stock price, and in fact, the stock is drifting down to lower support levels.

It may not matter to you from a long term strategic standpoint. But to people like me who have a lot of money invested it matters quite a bit. You see, when my money is sitting idle while the case is going on I'm losing the opportunity to make more money, in fact, at this point I'm losing gains on MSFT. Meanwhile other stocks like SUNW, NOK, etc are rocketing ever higher.

So go ahead and bail out of MSFT you may say. But it's not that easy, I have a commitment of time and I have capital gains to consider. I also think it's the greatest money making company ever created if they can get past this thing.

Strategically, sure maybe it's good they drag it out. But I'd rather see this thing settled, and see both sides give in the negotiation. Unfortunatly, I think it's the government pressing the advantage the asshole judge gave them, and that's not what I elected my government to do. But, alas, life can be a bitch sometimes.
