<I think most anti-Microsoftes don't want it broken up. Do we really want to clone Hitler and Stalin?

Just give us a chance to free us from Windows. Like open documentation (source code - since they lie like a thief). >

Basically, you don't want to give them a chance to compete, for you fear that they will take over again because the reason they are ahead now is because they outmaneuvered the competition, not because they broke the law (I am not saying they did not).

So the solution is to force them to give up their own, privately developed code to the world instead of having the market compete on the merits. What would you say if MSFT was broken up and the pieces still ran the industry? Another conspiracy or superior management and products?

Imagine what the fair market value of the Windows source code would be worth (along with the personnel to decipher it). Who could afford, it outside of IBM? If they had to pay cash, even they may not be able to afford it. If they paid equity, then MSFT is just about back where they started from, aren't they.
