Monu, you make a good argument but let me interject a thought. In John 17:8 Jesus says: I pray for them. I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Also when Jesus rose from the dead he didn't show himself to the Caesars, Herods, or the surrounding populace but rather he showed himself to His own. His elect, his church, His saints...he only showed himself to His own! When Jesus spoke during His ministry on earth he spoke in parables. Why did he do this? Because he doesn't throw his pearls to swine. He spoke in parables so that only those who had a hearing heart would understand. Who was granted a hearing heart? Only his own of course.

Chris

Monu ..

Men will not be judged because they could not come but because they would not come.

Both however were true !

John 6:65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

You see my posts get shorter when I lose hope that you are granted the ears to hear... However I trust God that others will read and eventually hear.. as it is written :

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Christ will honor His word it will accomplish that which He alone has purposed ... Your hearing may not be a part of that purpose I do not know .

Monu please tell me what This verse teaches God's Elect :

Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

If you don't mind :-}
