Wayne....heartily agree with you...if I am going to take a large position and sometimes even a small one, I'll always divie up the purchase into blocks....an excellent way to smooth out the spikes in the day's trading range .... another fact that most brokers consider these trades as a single trade if made on the same day, so you don't get nailed on commissions!

Thanks Wayne regarding my question on taking positions. That would be my main concern, no matter how much I trade the most important thing to me, is to preserve my capitol. I made that mistake of dreaming of ordering the Porsche before, while having to settle for a Chevette. Wherever I end off this week, I'll put myself on review for each move I have made.
