Is "breather", as in "The stock needs a breather", a euphemism for "stopping the price run up to reload, so you can sell it higher a little later"?

Sounds like a good explanation to me...

Part of the breather was caused by holders such as me who have become used to moves up of 5 points only to see it settle back down later in theday. I sold 1/3 of my position at 58. It's only natural to take some profit after a crazy, no news, run up such as this morning. I will gladly reenter around 55 or so. Good luck to all, it sure looks like somebody knows of some good news lurking out there.
