Sometimes it's good to have a correlation even on a daily basis.

Just for example, one of the things I looked at for confirmation of a top yesterday was a Long Term Fork from October 1998. I first looked at these forks in 1994, I think. Perhaps a lot earlier than that. The recent discussion renewed my interest but I never found any who really knew how to use them. Scott has learned something about them, and between he, Hal, Peter and probably Chip I got more of a feel for them. I liked them some time ago, but never could get them to work. I never knew the pivot concept and that may have been the reason.

But using forks for daytrading isn't of interest. I just like the concept to see possible tops or bottoms. Point and Figure may help even on a daily basis for similar reasons, I don't know. But until I get the rest of my head cleared out to the point that I more fully understand the other stuff I would be spread too thin to try my hand at really understanding how to use PnF.

If I could get it to work for daytrading I'd be all over it, believe me on that. But at any point in the game another confirming indicator is welcome......I don't get as confused as easily as I would have in the past.

I'd love to see a RT PnF chart in action.

By the way, the .50 charts are real interesting for trade evaluation.
