I understand that VOFDM today is where CDMA was 10 years ago.

Steve,

Re: HDR being first to market... could it be that Irwin and the rest of the Q team is trying to take a page out of the GSM crowd's book, and trying to build up a massive installed base before the opposition gets organized? It seems to have worked to a large degree for them, seeing as how CDMA is the better technology, but will be #2 (in terms of number of subscribers) for second generation systems because GSM was there first.

SM -

Did you see the company that wants to market FREEE mobile phones, each filled up with say $100 of calls, and then you simply chuck it and get another equally loaded?

The phone would have advertsing all over it and the actual phone cost would be written off as advertising and all you pay for is the calls. Well did you also see the AMZN idea that yo have a mobile device to provide access for their customers.

Well seems to me that the handset business is virtually over in the traditional sense and that we are going to see more of a combination of the above two ideas.

Of course Q will probably do even better out of this arrangement for ASCICS bu more especialy for the HDR mobility.

AMZN will give you one, Sears will, WMT, will, C will and C's will have a special access to TMCS or something...etc etc etc..mobile banking, shoppping, calling, listening to TV or news or quotes or music downloading.

That IMHO is why the stock is at $367 tonight and will be a lot more by the end of December never mind next year.

The wireless developments we have seen in the last fifty years are going to as nothing compared to those we will see in the next two years. Our world as we have know it is about to change in a way so fundamental as to compareit to the inventions of flight and motor cars.

We on this thread have been privilaged to have been discussing the forthcoming change and particpating in it and forecasting it.

Best regards,

L
