OT AmyJ, Thanks for your excellent response. I really appreciate it. Yes, gilder seems to think FC is already done in some respects (a niche), when it is just beginning now. And while gilder keeps talking about GE getting faster, he seems to forget FC is too. I think one of the interesting comments that Ive come by is that SANs take traffic off the LAN while NAS still further crowds it. I'm not sure exactly with respect to NAS, but seems to me both industries will grow immensely in the years ahead. if you have further comments, please come over to the FibrE Channel thread and ask questions or provide further insight. cheers pigboy
