I think it depends on the jurisdiction, and the degree of indignation exhibited by the parents. And of course, with minors, the judges have a lot of latitude. Still, my theory is that if men kept their pants up and their peckers in their pants, these girls wouldn't get pregnant, and abortion wouldn't even be an issue. So simply saying "nudge-nudge, wink-wink, boys will be boys" isn't an adequate response. When I was a young girl, the term "jail bait" was taken quite seriously, and older boys knew to stay away from underage girls.
