The reality is that whether we like it or not ASPs are going to play a huge part in the ongoing story (and stock price) of Citrix. Jeepers, $20 in a day and apparently all because of ASP buzz. I would also expect Citrix to become (remain) volatile. But, it looks like its going to be volatile in the $80 to a $100+ range and not the $40 to $60 range as it has been for a good part of this year. And unlike other tech companies who experience similar volatility, they're already making a fortune. Who knows how, as a business, the ASP thing will play out, but they'll be paying a good portion of any revenues (let alone profits) to Citrix to license Metaframe, a (the) key component of an ASP's business. This is without doubt a great thing for Citrix and its stockholders.
