Who knows, Henry.

The company has a habit of making announcement at strategic points in time.

It could be a cable deal; it could be a deal with Walmart; or it could be something related to the recent FCC ruling that will result in the Baby Bells cutting prices for DSL service, thus further undermining the need for, or advantages of, cable modem. I'm only speculating, based upon the company's modus operandi.

Remember, AOL split on November 18, 1998, only to split again on February 23, 1999. It could happen again. After all, AOL has made a significant (roughly 30 point) move since it announced the forthcoming split on 10/29/99.

If I didn't have such a large position I'd be buying more at this point. Christmas is around the corner.

Good luck.
