Well here is another thought. Would this help?

Thinking of trying Opera for browsing during market hours to reduce the load. If I use that in place of IE, will I conserve resources or does win98 already load in all the IE crap anyway?

I use two PCs side by side and I strongly recommend it.
Gives backup and separation of tasks. Network between 'em is essential, though.

Quote.com told me you couldn't get two feeds from the same account at the same time, but I've done it. Maybe they just haven't caught me at it yet <G>.

Win NT is strong medicine for low resource ills. Much more robust than Win 98.
