   As previously stated, Gateway's position was to continue to evaluate AMD 
   as a supplier. Based on an impressive roadmap and proven technology, we 
   have decided to offer the AMD Athlon processor within the Gateway Select 
   desktop line. 

   As opposed to the previous Select line focused on entry-level and value, 
   the emphasis on the new Select Desktop line is feature-rich, high 
   performance configurations targeted at multiple price points within the 
   desktop offering. We plan to have Select configurations with the Athlon 
   processor starting at $1299. We also plan to offer to our Clients the AMD 
   Athlon 750MHz processor in Q4, which will be the fastest processor 
   available in the industry.

   He also mentioned that the AMD banner was being hung up at his office,
