Goutama, <Please take this info with a big grain of salt!> I am not sure a big grain of salt is needed. This rumor has been now confirmed by couple of reputable analysts. Also, the email from Gateway lists a source with a phone number. I called! That number does belong to Angie Mattox of Gateway Desktop marketing. I think we are talking about 90%+ confidence level here. The question now seems to be the date of release. The dates floating around so far are 22nd, 23rd and 29th (i.e., just before or just after Thanksgiving). I am upbeat. Chuck

Asked if they would be getting AMD Athlons, and the girl said "Yes, we've been getting training on them, they are really hot stuff. - Want us to call you when they are in?"
