What's always a lot of fun is to keep an empty around of, say, '89 Pichon-Lalande (St. Julien) and use it as the decanter for the flavorful but less pedigreed cuvée.

Actually I had Gallo Chard a couple of years ago and it was very very good. I think they have the jug stuff and then an upscale "grade" in the bottles with real corks (haha).

I will try the merlot when I finish this bottle of Fetzer...maybe tonight :')

And how did you know I was cooking the turkey this year...?
