The government-run telecommunications and telephone giant said in a statement Motorola
purchased 2.6 million new common shares issued by Korea Telecom Powertel Co, which
provides trunked radio system services.

It said Korea Telecom and Motorola would also expand cooperation in related business areas.

I dont think that this has anything to do with KT Freetel. I dont know the structure of all of these companies but it seems like MOT got part of KT Powertel.....
