Well- Truedog-

I'm with you on this one. As governor of Texas, Bush was where he should have been. I don't think people can comprehend the impact this tragedy has had on Texas, whether it makes sense to them or not. Three young men of the twelve killed were from the metroplex area and we all grieve for their families. This on top of the the Fort Worth church shootings at the youth revival has created a very emotional environment here. GWB, I believe, came to the Fort Worth memorial as well, and refused to have any attention called to him. I think he sat in the back of the church. Don't hold me to this, but it's what sticks in my memory.

And I found that I really resent the implications of the press that GWB's tears over the lost lives was hypocritical, likening them to CLinton's biting his lip. He is a parent, and it's HIS state. There were many tears in church this morning; why would his mean any less.
