I just wrote to Michael about what I think is the only point we really disagree on. I thought last night that(or the article)was somehow equating the female movement with the whole mess. The article struck me wrong on top of all the arguing that I was reading preceding it. I,too,was rushing and the earlier posts had left me with a bad taste. I disagree with you about the way the men treat certain of the women here.. the ones who have the most abuse heaped upon them are the ones who DO present the most cogent arguments, and yet are greeted by one line insults rather than intelligent responses. But I really didn't mean to become involved with these arguments. I had some time last night and revisited Feelies, looking for some of the old camaraderie. There just isn't any. It's not friends arguing; it;s ugly and not fun. I don't think you can mediate it; these are adults who are responsible for their words and the effect of their words. Luckily Michael and I go way back and can disagree or talk without it interfering with our friendship.
