> your best interest to stay long

Right. I tried "being smart" and trading in '98 and didn't do well. So last December I just bought CMGI and three others and held.

Lucky for me I was so busy at work I didn't have time to buy and sell. In the long run this CMGI is hot.

One thing that helped me keep a firm hand on the tiller is a newsletter from James Dines. I'm not connected with him, but I like the letter a lot. Great analysis and advice on the internets.

Brian, I've enjoyed your posts and your "eagle" eye when it comes to CMGI...

Now primarily due to two out of the last four trading days we are up 43% since last week.

Howzabout putting things in perspective? From July, (4-5 months ago), we're up 80 percent from the lows...

But things never are what they seem. CMGI is still undervalued, IMO, but we all know that the stock doesn't move in a straight line. Sold some of the Jan 2001 200 calls today for 25 and change.

If the straight line continues, I'm forever grateful for the return on my investment. If there's a 20% retracement, I'll buy the calls back.

And do it again, and again, and again.

This stock has to humble all of us.

And it does....

Mark

<we are basically sitting on the old highs...To those that sold and missed this great run from $100 to $142 or so...you can always buy back> I am one of those who sold. Would you recommend I buy back at these prices?
