My husband had a stroke of genius last night- he said that rather than go out for Chinese food we could order in the day before and reheat. Isn't he marvelous? Perhaps he also doesn't want to get dressed. he likes to lounge around in his nightshirt on the Holidays. But I am so happy. On the way home just now- I had to drop off my daughter's flute at school because she forgot it- I saw the garbage men. I am truly thankful for garbage men- and for the whole system that takes away my my garbage and glass recyclables, my newspapers and plastic recyclables, my card board and my greenwaste. What a thing of beauty it is. To leave, at the curb, the many boxes piled high with their offerings of plastic, glass and card board and to return home to find them gone. Also, ot be able to go out to the two mammoth garbage cans that only the night before could not hold a single things more no matter how hard I tried to cram them down, and to find them ready for MORE. HOW SWEET IT IS.
