Thank Goodness for Joe. Turkey day will take care of the gas, crude and HO look good.

EDIT, better than I thought, if they do this in Indian Summer what will they do when winter gets here! Snagged some UPR this afternoon, just couldn't resist.

Re: SEI

I'm sure you noticed that Paul Frame, CEO of Seitel, has sold more than 250,000 of his shares since June 1 of this year. Now the company is buying back shares in the open market.

I traded this stock fairly successfully back when it was between $25 - $35, and remember reading an analyst report that basically said that the insiders at SEI were quite greedy.

It ain't gonna happen, but I would like to see a consolidation in E&P land, so there would be fewer corporate insiders sucking the blood out of these companies.

Pappy: I'm always on the hunt for OS giveaways. All this insider and company buying in SEI intrigues me. This one may be a good safe way to get into seismics at this point. I realize that most company's in this sub sector have been crushed lately, but SEI seems to have been particularly singled out. What happened to these guys? Why did investors dump this one sooooo hard?

Care to make the bullish case? Why are you buying besides the obvious value play? I'll go back and read through your posts in case I missed something. Hey, you're the guy that got me into that 800 lb MAVK gorilla, so my ears perk up when I hear you be buyin. Every time I look at MAVK, I bend over and instruct Mrs. Bull to administer a good swift kick in the butt for selling. <g>
