Larry,

FWIW, I think NN had better get bought out a lot sooner than next April. These ATM switches are not cheap commodity products, but rather expensive, complex pieces of electronics that require a lot of tech support not to mention future upgrades. The question you can ask is: Would I buy NN switches with the thought that NN might not be around in its present state in a few months, or worse, might get bought out by my close competitor?

IMO, once NN puts the "for sale" shingle on the door, the buyout has to happen yesterday, otherwise the business will just suck over the next few quarters (LU to benefit greatly no matter what). This doesn't even take into account Gary's thought that this last quarter was dressed up in sacrifice of the next.

What do you think?

Good luck,

Clay
