Hey Jack, (notice how good I'm getting?) I'll let you know in about 3 years how good TWE is!!! :-)

Just missed a trade up near $20 as I was waiting for the proverbial week to pass between orders.

I have a bunch of cash coming out of HQ soon with the buy-out by Chase. I may re-deploy some of those $$$ over to TWE if the price is right at the time.

Best regards, Tom

Hi Jack, I see it as another case where the stock got cut in half due to panic from lower earnings estimates. Go to Sept 16, 1999 and take a peek.
cbs.marketwatch.com

Look at the chart from Clear station. The question in my mind, is will the ^U^ be completed?
clearstation.com

Over 39 million shares traded that day. The current float is 67.8 million. With the large market cap I would think that we had large institutional ownership and with the automated sell stops set in place a massive sell off was triggered. I'd bet 3/4+ of the selling that day was not done by folks like you & me. But the end result got the lawyer parade moving down Wall Street real quick. Have I answered your question about multiple Class Action Suit's?

Now when I see this type of reaction & chart I rely on a memo that I acquired from JZGalt titled "1-2-3...buying falling knives". He outlined 6 points to pattern for this type of situation. FWIW I view the stock at the last point (# 6) which states. Stock drops and then bases higher than lows reached in step # 2 and continues up. . Now it needs some goods news along with a solid market in general to fill out the ^U^ curve I mentioned earlier? Has that news arrived? I don't know... Will moving to the S&P 500 help it? Will new sales or customers move it? Analyst coverage or upgrades? Bottom line is, was there an over reaction to their lower earnings estimates and are they profitable going forward? Look at these briefs from the Brokers.

What I always wonder about, are the Brokers now trying to sell us what they purchased on Sept 16th or do they see real growth & value? It's a Nasty world out there...

Review the memo I got from William Partmann who in my mind passes honest and intelligent views:

I just got burned in this area. The CROs have been burning for 9 months now. QTRN is the biggest and the best of the CROs. It seems to have based and certainly, this is a growing area. However, the question is, will they (the industry) find a way to make money? I sold because I lost confidence in PRXL management. It is difficult for me to recommend any CRO. Having said that, the main players seem to have based and there appears little downside. Upside?

Can you tell me what he means by CROs?

Anyway you folks know how I love to buy from the small farmers. Picked up 20lbs of cracked pecans today at $1.25 per lb. Most of you know I can be pretty Squirrelly at times.
