Eric,

Interesting comments. I had the same problem. Got slammed very hard on yesterday. Spreads were extremely wide and everybody was "twitchy". One wiggle in the price and buyers (or sellers) disappeared.

Not sure what the issue is.

Regards,

Dan.

<<I just couldnt get the stink'n fills on the exits.>>

That is one of the problems of trading life, when you got to exit so does everyone else. I had situations where I'm so desperately trying to get a fill I just do a market sell and lose a whole point or more in the process.

I try to trade more liquid stocks ie with a float of 50 million or more. You get filled much easier and the stocks when you trade them they tend to be more predictable ie. if it looks like the stock wants to break a trend line it will - that kind of thing.

But the key really is getting out when you can not when you have to - isn't it? I make make that mistake. I find that when I try to get that extra tick out of a stock(being greedy), that instant everyone is selling and it's going down fast and I'm stuck holding a bag of stock that no one wants anymore.

I guess we keep learning and learning.

Happy trading

Steven

Don't feel bad - I slept in yesterday, then got up turned on the computer looked at my favorite stock and saw that I had just missed a 10 point move !!.....remember the early bird gets the worm ( and I don't mean the turkey types (MM's)).
