MM:
I seem to recall reading somewhere recently that QCOM was one of only 4 fabless chipmakers. I'm not sure but I think
ATML and ALTR were two of them. The price/trailing sales ratios of those two are 3.7 and 14.7 respectively. Do you know what companies are included in the fabless chip model?

QCOM to move into GSM?

IBM are shopping COMQUEST (a player in the GSM 'system-on-a-chipmarket). QCOM are going in to kick the tires.

Comments anyone?

w.

PS
Mike - good for CNXT in the short term (Comquest eliminated)
Not so good in the long term. What do you think?
