Unfortunately, I don't have any visibility into Rambus' future plans, so I can't say whether Rambus is already thinking or even implementing the idea or not. <I don't know where you got 8 chips - that should be 4 (x16 chips, which fit in the standard package).> Are all DDR chips 16-bit? I've heard about 32-bit DDR chips, but because of the larger size of those chips, the DRAM manufacturers might as well just stick to PC800 RDRAM chips. Tenchusatsu
