Richard,

"We continue to see industry support for Rambus, despite the price premium. In our opinion, DDR is not competitive with Rambus in the PC arena and will only be implemented in the low-volume server and PC markets. We believe that the long-term fundamentals for Rambus have not changed and that RDRAM will become the next standard in PC memory

Last Tuesday, 11/16, when Kumar said this, the stock was trading between 84.125-89.1875 and closed at 87.5. 115, which he said would be tested, would be almost a 30% premium over 89. Today it would be a 53% premium.

Is that enough for him to bang the table or what? His opinions re the companies future haven't changed in a week, I'm certain. RDRAM will become the next standard in PC memory

BTW, I don't recall his previous Rambus inclinations. Can anyone help with this? Is he coming out of the woodwork now or has he already been out there on Rambus?

Barry
