Max,
I think you could restate this from the release:

CheckFree will provide the routing, tracking and payment engine to support Intuit's offering for CheckFree's billers. Checkfree will also provide the payment engine for the ''Pay Everyone' functionality that Intuit's new service will offer to consumers.

this way:
CheckFree will provide the routing, tracking and payment engine to support Intuit's offering for CheckFree's billers. The routing, tracking and payment engine support for bills not presented electronically by CheckFRee for Intuit's offering will be handled pursuant to a license agreement between Intuit Inc. and a joint venture company in which Intuit is a participant. Checkfree will provide the payment engine for the ''Pay Everyone' functionality that Intuit's new service will offer to consumers.

Sounds kinda like AOL customers and Intuit/AOL support staff are going to be asking/answering the question; "Where did it come from and where did it go?" a lot, at least until the billers get electronic through CheckFree, in which case they'll then be presenting and paying everything.
