Given the fact that CSCO has broken new high...what ya think about a split???<<<Hhmmm any possibilities?? just asking... any thoughts...RESISTANCE heavy at this level 89 1/4-90..If it breaks it moves>>> perhaps we could see 94-95?in my opinion of course...best to all

Brian - You are right about the low salaries. The cheap Canadian dollar has been a real competitive advantage for Nortel. I think other companies, including Cisco, wish to hire talented people at relatively low salaries. If these talented Canadians are hired away and moved to Silicon Valley, they get better pay and lower taxes. They also have to pay the inflated prices for housing in Silicon Valley.
