Dear VFD: I think WCOM stock price is being held back due to the question as to whether or not the Sprint deal goes through. It may flounder for some time. Once the deal finalizes, if it does, I would expect a very rapid rise. You may have to be disappointed for several more months. But that is what LONG term investing is all about. JDN

Bought at 24 so WCOM has become a core holding. Long term the stock will do well.

Re: <<...WCOM has been a big disappointment for me this year.
I am still hopeful that it will be close to 100 (instead of 86) by the time it splits.>>

T and WCOM got beaten up when the INTERNUTS tumbled...both T and WCOM are coming back and may see new highs by year end...WCOM making higher highs and higher lows - should see 100 shortly with the up coming split. Been long time long and holding since pre WCOM days...not a CSCO but no complaints!

Good luck,

FNS
