Addressing a women gathering organized by the International Women Union, Dr Jaz said a number of applications have been submitted to his ministry for purchasing the Sudanese oil which is of high quality by all standards.

Dr Jaz expressed appreciation for the stands of the union and its participation in all domains of development and rehabilitation as well as its defence of Islam.

The President of the Union, Dr Suaad El-Fatih, addressed the gathering, calling on the opposition to return home and take part in the development and the rehabilitation process, saying Sudanese people should remain one unit against plots being woven by the enemies of the homeland.

She stressed that oil revenues should be used in the domains of education and health.
