Jay,

Good visions! Don't forget how digital TV and home video might all fit in. Sony is working it's ass off to be the first to control that through cable and DSL with things like Playstation 2 and their VAIO computers. Apple is probably their only competitor in this field - and they don't actually compete, a Mac guy will stay with the Mac and the Windows guy will likely go with Sony.

Anyways - imagine video:

1. Communications with family, friends, AND your business as you work at home.

2. Network gaming - what do you suppose the whole idea behind Playstation 2 is?

3. Rental - download to your household server and view at your leisure.

4. And?

Jeff

Hi Jay,

Negropontes view on wireless.

Bits will travel wirelessly in proportion to the degree to which they're public.

What do you think?
