Harry; sorry to hear you have to work. Outside my window the traffic is a MESS (noisy mess), so you can be thankful to be avoiding that! (in Canada)

Glad you pointed out the perils of LWIN. I got out unscathed. Would have been a good short 10 bars ago. It's now thru the 61.8% retrace & still falling. I picked up both CLRS & LWIN somewhere around the 50% retrace. CLRS is doing ok. Watching HLTH yesterday & today. Looks very good, coming off the short term moving average (So is CLRS, I hope!) & thru the downslope trend from the last high.

Happy days all.

Dorothy

Hi HARRY!

Sorry to hear about the RHAT "fundamental short". I have tried without success some shorting the last 2 weeks and went into a deep crisis(i'm not kidding here!!) about my own trading when i realized how i was trading against the trend. A couple a days ago i just stopped trading since i couldn't deal with the NAZ going up further and further and the feeling of total overvaluation. But still none of the shorts really worked which was a)the market and b)my miserable technique lately.
I read somewhere the word MOBtrading and that seems to fit the bill. I have these imagines of piranhas feeding on a wounded animal when i see the action in stocks like PPRO etc.
Have a good turkey day everybody...i need some rest and feel like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator2 where he says in the end: "i need a vacation"! Must be that constant standing in front of a freight train! ;-))

And on the Invest/LTD thread this was posted (so Drsvelte already knows it since he is a regular there). Still found it interesting for the folks on this thread.

Take care!
Stefan

Here is the post from the other thread:

Here is one man's viewpoint from the tech heartland...
"I'm the biggest bear on internet stocks you will ever find. I live in the valley, and I
know dozens of people who work at, and run public internut companies. I hear them joking
at parties about how they can't believe they got away with their IPO, and they can't
believe how they just bought a new porsche, or they can't believe they just sold 10
million dollars worth of stock while their company has never earned a dime. Employees
right and left quit as soon as they cash in their options- they have no commitment to
the company long term whatsoever.

But NONE OF THAT MATTERS. You cant fight the population of america, the lottery ticket
buyers next door, who will buy these shares until the end of time.

Just give it up. Hold your nose, close your eyes, and buy calls. Don't even THINK about
going short a stock unless you know the CEO just got arrested for murder 3 hours ago,
along with a passport to switzerland, a suitcase full of cash, and a one way plane
ticket. Unless you've got that kind of insider information, IT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER
OR NOT THESE STOCKS ARE OVERVALUED."
