The takeover price in August,1996(boy that seems like a long time ago)was $41.00(?)Canadian or about $28.50 US. And yes it has been a very long three and a half years for shareholders. The rumours that there might be a deal seem to focus on the possibility of a scaled down level of production. Probably in the range of 135,000,000 lbs, of Nickel annually and 100,000,000 lbs. of copper. This would be about half the origional projections. I think the Ovoid will take about seven years to mine if I remember correctly. This will be very lucrative as it is all easily accessible from surface and should be able to make the costs very low in the early years.
