England is part of an island ( Great Britain)on the Eurasian Plate..( one land mass).. Webster's New Geographical Dictionary states..Great Britain is the largest island In Europe..... And to "Thicken The Plot"........Ireland is an island...with english on it .......

As a resident of Europe, I find your comments that England is not a part of Europe to be quite amusing to say the least. Yes, Great Britain is an island of NW Europe comprising of England, Scotland and Wales. At least on this side of the pond, England is a part of Europe no matter what twist you want to add to the mix.
