And if it makes you feel any better about the hunger site thing, tell those other thread guys and gals, that I'll take the blame for posting the site on feelings to begin with. Hi E, What set me off on this issue was reading on the DAR thread about the one Day trader that turned you off in an offensive manner.. And then ALL the cracks about hopeless loser day traders and then what I viewed as self congratulatory remarks about how good the Clickees(for the want of a better word) were. And how bad the others were. Or at least that was my perception. And the clicking is fine.. I think I have mentioned I have done it a number of times when I remember.. I still don't understand the concept.. but that's a different issue.. I'm no nonsense about stuff like giving. But it's fine too. So I remembered Nihil's remark, your reply, and MY blood pressure rose.. Then I remembered the JFK jr death and the remarks which in my mind were so offensive when we are at a time in our society that is having trouble with what I call hardening.. Those JFK jr jokes just cheapen human life IMO and our children see it. And the jokes IMO, are a direct attack on the Kennedy family.. They suffer just as much.. And of course IMO, the Kennedys had done more or tried to do , for our less fortunate. which in mind was ironic. Also, it was ironic, that JLA who is on so many sheeet lists came to my defense. He and I are on different sides of the political fence on many issues but I respect his beliefs. I don't operate like him but that doesn't matter. Nobody is the same and WE all have something to contribute.. Concerning jokes, IMO, it is different, much different for the poor or homeless or cancer-stricken to joke amongst themselves than for outsiders to do so. See I would have never made a remark like Nihil did. Just different I guess. I wrongly perceived an elitist attitude I guess. I'm sorry Nihil And I'm sorry to you E, I misread your views on issues. But this pretty much sums up my thoughts on the issue and now I think it is time for me to move on to something else I can discuss with you, sometime, someplace. So now, I want to wish you, your family and dear ones a wonderful start to the holiday season.. with E's Feast, I'm sure. coug
